I have collected and cut rare and
unusual stones from all over the world for more than 30 years.
Each piece is specifically designed to emphasize the stone using the
appropriate metal and technique.
Techniques using gold, sterling silver or bronze vary from fabrication
to casting, achieving results complementary to the stone’s color
and pattern.
The new designs I am doing with stone and metal emerge from past training
and travels. I have advanced degrees in ceramics and sculpture, traveled
a great deal to Asia, Europe and elsewhere and apprenticed in bronze
casting to the sculptor Paul Granlund. Of course, I was also an avid
rock collector since age 8.
I would be pleased to consider custom design projects using my materials,
or using your stones, finished or rough.
